Reed Brothers was one of the pioneers in growing container citrus trees. Our first trees were grown in 6 mil. poly bags, prior to the introduction of the 4 inch citripot. Reed Brothers has been at the forefront of the evolution of container grown citrus trees. Several different soilless mediums were introduced to the Nursery Industry by Reed Brothers in cooperation with chemical and soil companies.All of our container citrus trees are grown in a very high quality, soilless medium, utilizing only Canadian Peat. Our soilless medium does not contain any Florida peat. We feel that the most important aspect of growing container citrus trees is to start with a high quality, sterile potting medium.
